Choosing the Diploma in Events Management at ������Ƶ University was a pivotal decision in my life. I have always had a passion for creating experiences that connect people and leave lasting impressions. The programme offered not just academic knowledge but also practical, industry-relevant training that aligned perfectly with my aspirations to work in the dynamic world of events and communications.

The structure of the programme provided me with a comprehensive understanding of event planning, marketing, budgeting, and operations. One particular assignment that stood out was planning a mock event from start to finish — it mirrored real-life challenges and taught me the value of adaptability and foresight. Today, as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Square Communications Myanmar, those lessons remain highly relevant. Whether managing teams or executing large-scale campaigns, the foundations laid at ������Ƶ have been instrumental.

My employment journey began modestly. Like many fresh graduates, I faced rejections and moments of self-doubt. However, each challenge helped sharpen my resilience. I worked my way up from entry-level positions, learning everything I could about the industry. Over time, with dedication and a commitment to continuous learning, I was fortunate to grow into leadership roles.

One career highlight I am especially proud of is my appointment as COO at Square Communications. Leading a team in a fast-paced, competitive industry has tested and expanded my capabilities. I’ve had the opportunity to lead national campaigns, collaborate with global brands, and develop young talents in the field — all of which I deeply value.

Beyond the office, the principles I learned during my time at ������Ƶ continue to shape my contributions to society. I actively support youth mentorship programmes and contribute to charity initiatives in Yangon, firmly believing in the importance of giving back and lifting others as we rise.

The programme also helped me hone skills such as decision-making under pressure, strategic thinking, and effective communication — skills that transcend professional boundaries and enhance every aspect of life.

My student journey at ������Ƶ was incredibly enriching. The guidance from passionate lecturers, the vibrant multicultural environment, and the access to real-world learning made it a holistic experience. I also appreciated the opportunity to work closely with classmates from diverse backgrounds, which helped broaden my worldview.
