The Centre for Commercial Law & Justice (CCLJ) at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ University is a multidisciplinary research and engagement hub dedicated to advancing scholarship, policy, and practice in commercial law and justice, with a particular focus on Malaysia and the ASEAN region. The Centre provides a platform for rigorous research and informed dialogue on legal and regulatory issues shaping commerce, governance, and access to justice in emerging and developed economies.
CCLJ brings together academics, legal practitioners, judges, regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to address contemporary challenges in areas such as commercial and corporate law, financial regulation, dispute resolution, regulatory governance, and law reform. Through research projects, policy papers, conferences, capacity-building programmes, and public engagement initiatives, the Centre seeks to contribute to evidence-based policymaking and the development of effective, context-sensitive legal frameworks.
Aligned with ºìÐÓÊÓƵ University’s commitment to societal impact and global relevance, CCLJ aims to strengthen the rule of law, promote ethical and sustainable commercial practices, and enhance justice outcomes in Malaysia and the wider ASEAN region, while engaging with global legal developments and comparative perspectives.
