“You cannot get the worm out of the apple just by polishing it” – Taqiah believes education is the superpower that can fight monstrosity of inequality and uphold justice. 

Determined to be an educator in law, she pursued her LLB in International Islamic University Malaysia. Right after graduation she flew to University of Reading, UK, for her LLM. She then completed her Pupilage in Chambers and was called to the High Court of Malaya as an advocate and solicitor. She knew to be able to teach the law, she needed to know the practical aspects of the law. 

She served as Legal Officer in a local municipal council where she has gained vast practical experience in applying the law firsthand. She then joins the academia to share her knowledge with the future generation and is now preparing to pursue her pursuit of knowledge to higher level.
