Biography
Sandy Liew Mei Xuan is a lecturer at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Business School with a unique blend of industry expertise and academic dedication. Prior to her academic journey, she led B2B project management for a Germany Company to attend Gulfood, one of the world’s largest F&B trade fairs, representing a German-based export group. Her role centered on fostering Asia-Germany businesses’ import-export landscape. This experience sparked her curiosity in how entrepreneurship, leadership, and strategy intersect in fast-changing global environments. Today, she channels that experience into her research and teaching. She is currently completing her doctoral research and is actively involved in the global academic community. She is especially passionate about how traditional businesses adapt to emerging technologies and how intergenerational dynamics influence strategic renewal. Actively engaged in the global academic community, she serves as a reviewer for the Academy of Management (AOM) Conference 2025 and sits on the International Family Enterprise Research Academy (IFERA) Reviewing Committee for 2024 and 2025. She is also a member of the Asian Academy of Management (AAOM). In addition, she has successfully secured a few research grants.
