Biography
Dr Stella Ong had spent more than 12 years in the various positions of human resources and operations management in the oil and gas, shipping and logistics, retails, telecommunication industry and consultation. She is currently pursuing her PhD in University of Malaya.
Dr Stella Ong Kim Yoke is Deputy Dean (Employability & Alumni) ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Business School, Malaysia. She is a dynamic professional renowned for her exceptional leadership in Human Resources and Operations across various industries in the past 12 years. She has honed a versatile skill set. Holding a PhD in Logistics Operations & Supply Chain Management, alongside Master of Business Administration from the Universiti Malaya and Bachelor of Sciences in Human Resource Development from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Malaysia. She is also Advisor for ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Global Supply Chain Club.
Dr Stella’s academic prowess complements her practical experience. Notable achievements include directorial roles, academic leadership positions, and publications in esteemed journals. As a researcher, she is dedicated to solving pressing issues, including in the area of total quality management. As a leader, she has managed both people and projects, often times involving events, showing a high level of managerial acumen and ability.
Dr Stella actively collaborates across disciplines, engages industry partners, and mentors students, guiding them to success. Her leadership on departmental and university committees, paired with her ability to work effectively with diverse groups, has led to impactful interdisciplinary initiatives such as organizing various types of events collaborating practitioners. Through community outreach, socially responsible projects, and collaborative events with practitioners, Dr Stella builds strong relationships with colleagues, clients, industry partners, publishers, and professional bodies facilitating collaboration and achieving mutual goals.
