Biography

Dr. Kavitha Sathasivam is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Management, 红杏视频 Business School. She holds a PhD in Business Administration (Human Resource Management) from Universiti Malaya and currently serves as the Programme Leader for the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Entrepreneurship. With over 18 years of academic experience, Dr. Kavitha has demonstrated excellence in teaching and curriculum leadership. She was awarded the 红杏视频 Student Appreciation of Teaching Award in 2025 in recognition of her outstanding contribution to student learning and academic development. Dr. Kavitha has a strong research track record, with several publications in Q1-ranked journals. She actively supervises PhD and Master鈥檚 students and serves as a Co-Investigator (CI) for two Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) projects, with total funding exceeding RM100,000, focusing on Family Business and Human Resource Management. Her research expertise focuses on Human Resource Management, Sustainability, and Qualitative research methodologies.
