Biography
Following his higher education in Hospitality Management and Tourism in his native country Argentina, Javier pursued a career in hospitality and earned extensive experience in Food & Beverage operations within luxury resorts and business hotels worldwide.
His experience in food service establishments grew at reputable global brands such as Hyatt, Marriott, Four Seasons and Jumeirah in Argentina, United States, Ireland and United Arab Emirates.
Beyond operations, Javier expanded his expertise into learning and development with involvement in departmental trainings, which in turn evolved into his teaching vocation. Upon joining the higher education sector in Malaysia, Javier broadened his areas of interest by completing a Master’s in Human Resource Management at the University of Barcelona. He now has 20 years of combined work experience in Hospitality and Academia.
