The Institutional Review Board (IRB) acts as a standing committee to the Senate to uphold the ethical standards and integrity of the University’s research mission as well as create a culture of responsible conduct of research in the University. The IRB is responsible for assessing and monitoring the ethical considerations of research carried out by University students and staff on University premises and/or elsewhere.
