At CARE, we lead and support diverse research initiatives to promote healthy ageing. Our current featured projects include:

  1. Long-Term Research Grant Scheme (LRGS) 
    A four-year study to evaluate whether certain interventions can slow age-related decline in memory, physical ability, and brain function, while also assessing their economic impact.
  2. Body Mass, Frailty & Blood Pressure 
    Led by Dr. Daniel, this project examines how body composition and frailty influence blood pressure in older adults.
  3. Salt Intake & Ageing 
    Investigating how salt consumption affects overall health and functioning in later life.
  4. Nutrition & Ageing 
    Exploring the impact of diet and nutrition on the well-being and daily function of older adults.
  5. Hypertension & Blood Pressure Control 
    Studying the effects of high blood pressure and strategies to improve its management in older individuals.
  6. Algae and Healthy Ageing
  7. Lactoferrin & CRP Levels
  8. Community-Based Ageing Initiatives 
    Developing programs aimed at improving well-being and reducing age-related decline through local community engagement.
