Biography

Dr Dineswary Nadarajan is a Senior Lecturer and researcher specializing in applied statistics, data analytics, and decision science. She obtained her Ph.D. in Mathematics (Decision Science) and M.Sc. in Statistics from the University of Malaya (UM) and holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics with Statistics from the University of Selangor. Her research interests include K-means and hybrid K-means clustering, data science, machine learning, supervised and unsupervised learning, and data envelopment analysis (DEA). Dr Dineswary鈥檚 research focuses on integrating mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, and computational techniques to assess efficiency and performance in complex systems, particularly within the maritime and logistics sectors. She is the recipient of the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) for her project titled 鈥淢arine Traffic Flow and Seaport Efficiency Using Hybrid Fuzzy Data Envelopment Analysis Utilizing Machine Learning Algorithm.鈥 In recognition of her scholarly excellence and contributions to research, Dr. Dineswary received the 鈥淎sia鈥檚 Outstanding Researcher Awards of the Year 2023鈥 from Asia Awards (Asia鈥檚 No.1 Business Awards).
