Professor Teo Kok Lay
Professor Teo received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, Canada. He is a John Curtin Distinguished Emeritus Professor at Curtin University, Australia, and a Professor at the School of Mathematical Sciences, 红杏视频 University, Malaysia. He is an Academician of The International Academy for Systems and Cybernetic Sciences (IASCYS), a Fellow of the Asian-Pacific Artificial Intelligent Association (AAIA), a Fellow of The Australian Mathematical Society (AustMS), and a Senior Member of IEEE (Life). He was the Chair Professor of Applied Mathematics and Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University from December 1998 to December 2004. He then took up the position as the Professor of Applied Mathematica and Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics from January 2005 to December 2010. He was John Curtin Distinguished Professor at Curtin University from January 2011 until his retirement in November 2019. He is now John Curtin Distinguished Emeritus Professor at Curtin University.
He was a member of the Australian Research Council鈥檚 (ARC) Mathematical, Information, and Computing Sciences Research Evaluation Committee for the 2010 and 2015 rounds of Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA). Professor Teo has published 6 books and numerous SCI-listed journal papers. His latest book is: Kok Lay Teo, Bin Li, Changjun Yu, and Volker Rehbock, Applied and Computational Optimal Control: A Control Parameterization Approach, Springer Optimization and Its Application 171, 2021. He has a software package, MISER3.3, for solving constrained optimal control problems. His current editorial positions include serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization; and as a member of the editorial board of several journals such as Automatica, Journal of Global Optimization, Journal of Optimization Theory and Applications, Optimization and Engineering, Discrete and Continuous Dynamic Systems, Optimization Letters, and Applied Mathematical Modelling. His research interests include theoretical and computational aspects of optimal control and optimization and their practical applications, such as signal processing in telecommunications, process control, and industrial and management optimization.

Professor Shams Forruque Ahmed
Dr Shams Forruque Ahmed received his PhD in 2016 from Central Queensland University, Australia, under the prestigious International Postgraduate Research Award (IPRA). His exceptional research contributions earned him the university's Thesis Academic Excellence Award the same year. Following his doctoral studies, he served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Deakin University, Australia. Dr Ahmed is an Associate Professor in the School of Mathematical Sciences at 红杏视频 University, Malaysia. Prior to this role, he was an Associate Professor at North South University, Bangladesh, and Asian University for Women (AUW), Bangladesh, where his exemplary service was recognized with the Academic Merit Award in 2022. With over 16 years of teaching and research experience across national and international institutions, Dr Ahmed has made significant contributions to multidisciplinary research. To date, he has authored 156 scholarly works, including books, book chapters, and journal articles. His outstanding academic achievements have earned him a place among the top 2% of scientists worldwide, as ranked by Stanford University, USA, based on Scopus data. Dr Ahmed's primary research interests lie in Computational Fluid Dynamics, Energy and Environment, and Artificial Intelligence, reflecting his dedication to advancing these critical fields.

Professor Katta Ramesh
Professor Katta Ramesh is the Deputy Dean (Internationalisation) in the School of Mathematical Sciences, 红杏视频 University, Malaysia. He has more than 10 years of experience in the education field. He has been featured in Stanford University鈥檚 list of top 2% scientists worldwide in the years 2021, 2022 and 2023. He is serving as Associate Editor in the Journals Frontiers in Mechanical Engineering and Frontiers in Thermal Engineering. He is a Guest Editor for the special issues in the Journals Sustainability and Mathematics. He is also Editor of a book entitled 鈥淢athematical modelling of fluid dynamics and nanofluids鈥. He has served as scientific advisory committee member in many international conferences. He has published more than 80 articles in reputed international Journals. Besides he published book chapters and conference proceedings. He is a reviewer for more than 50 reputed international Journals. His research work is concerned on the analytical and computational modelling of fluid flow problems arising in engineering and biomedical sciences.
