ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University Press proudly announced the launch of SNaPS – A Poetry Anthology and Other Narratives during the 11th ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ National Poetry Slam (SNaPS) Finale, held at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ International ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ (SIS).

The event was officiated by Professor Cheng Mien Wee, Executive Director of ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ International School and Director of Pre-University Studies, together with Senior Directors from the Selangor Education Department, Ms Emma Davidson (Member of the ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ International ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ and Magdalen College School Oxford Board of Governors), Mr Richard Thomas Cherry, Principal of the Canadian International School/ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ International School, and Ms Carol Wong, Head of ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University Press.

The launch took place amidst an electrifying celebration of words, rhythm, and creativity, marking more than a decade of nurturing young voices through poetry. SNaPS – A Poetry Anthology and Other Narratives celebrates the vibrant journey of the SNaPS movement since its inception in 2013, showcasing winning poems from past competitions, insights on crafting and performing poetry by award-winning poet Jamal Raslan, and the inspiring story of how SIS has championed poetry slam in Malaysia for over ten years.
