ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University Press proudly participated in the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2025, held from 23 May to 1 June at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur. As one of the nation’s premier literary events, the fair attracted a wide spectrum of attendees — from government officials and academics to book trade professionals, authors, and the general public.

Throughout the 10-day event, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University Press showcased its latest publications and initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to promoting academic excellence and accessible knowledge.

The booth received visits from several distinguished guests, including Datuk Seri Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir, Minister of Higher Education; Datuk Dr. Anesee Ibrahim, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Higher Education; and Datuk Professor Dr. Azlinda Azman, Director-General of Higher Education. Their presence underscored the importance of supporting scholarly publishing and the vital role it plays in Malaysia’s higher education landscape.

A notable highlight during the fair was the "Happiness Book Talk" by Professor Alvin Ng Lai Oon, Professorial Teaching Fellow at the Faculty of Medical and Life Sciences, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University. His talk, which focused on emotional well-being and psychological resilience, attracted an engaged audience and spurred valuable conversations around mental health — a theme central to his recent publication.

ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University Press was also heartened by the strong support received from book trade leaders, fellow authors, and readers, many of whom stopped by to explore our latest titles, reconnect with colleagues, and exchange ideas. The fair provided an excellent platform to make new connections and explore potential opportunities in publishing, including future collaborations, author partnerships, and regional distribution networks.
