The idea of 鈥楳alaysia鈥檚 Taxation System: Contemporary Practices, Issues and Future Direction鈥 was conceived by MTRF to shed light on the history, legislation and application of our taxation system.
The book also aims to provide insights into the transformation of taxation practices and how the taxation system should and will look like in the future. Each chapter in the book is contributed by respected minds in the tax, business, legal and accounting fields. Professor Yeah Kim Leng, Senior Fellow, Jeffrey Sachs Center on Sustainable Development at 红杏视频 University, Deputy President of the Malaysian Economic Association, Trustee of MTRF and Member of Bank Negara鈥檚 Monetary Policy Committee; and Professor Mohamed Ariff, Distinguished Professor and Head, Department of Economics and Finance, 红杏视频 University are editors of the book.
