Overview

This course introduces students to the study and staging of theatrical works across diverse genres and cultural traditions. Through rehearsals, character development, and ensemble collaboration, students develop acting techniques, stage presence, and interpretive skills. The course emphasizes creativity, communication, and performance discipline, culminating in a staged production.

  • Analyse theatrical repertoire, including genres, dramatic structures, and performance conventions. (C3, PLO1) 
  • Demonstrate effective teamwork and coordination in ensemble-based theatrical performance (A3, PLO4) 
  • Behave as a theatre ensemble with integrity and professionalism effectively. (A3, PLO11)
