Dr Hadyan Hafizh
Dr Hadyan Hafizh is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Engineering and Technology, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University. He obtained his PhD from Kyoto University and currently focuses on IoT and AI in the manufacturing industry. His research explores the convergence of operational and information technology in Industrial IoT, with interests in aerospace and civil engineering applications. Dr. Hafizh is a member of IEEE, a Registered Engineering Technologist with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, a Certified Internet of Things Specialist, and a Certified Data Science Specialist.
Dr Faris Syahmi Samidi
Dr Faris Syahmi Samidi holds a PhD from Universiti Tenaga Nasional in Engineering. His expertise lies in 5G networks, reinforcement learning, and spectrum optimization. He has been actively involved in research and industry projects, particularly in AI-driven network optimization and data analytics for utilities. Previously, he was an adjunct lecturer at MJIIT, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, teaching Mobile and Internet Programming. His research interests extend to smart grids, big data applications, and emerging technologies in wireless communications. He welcomes collaboration opportunities to drive impactful research and innovation.

Dr Javid Iqbal Thirupattur
Dr Javid Iqbal, a Ph.D. graduate with nearly a decade of experience, specializes in augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, motion detection, gesture detection, and gamification. His extensive career includes serving as an Assistant Professor and Head of Department at UCSI University's Institute of Computer Science & Digital Innovation.
Dr Javid's research experience includes a project at Universiti Tenaga Nasional involving a Natural User Interface (NUI) to control virtual objects with hand and voice commands, resulting in conference papers and book chapters. He has also published several manuscripts on human expression and motion analysis monitoring systems with interactive NUIs.

Associate Professor Dr Goh Yi Sheng
Associate Professor Dr Goh Yi Sheng is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Department of Art, Design and Media at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University, Malaysia. She received her PhD in Consumer and Design Sciences from Auburn University. She is a design researcher who has a broad interest in creating solutions for a better society; among which include design for longevity, resilience, and well-being, consumer and aesthetics research, community sustainability and place making, and cultural and creative research. Her works are published in the International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction, Journal of Product and Brand Management, Wacana Seni Journal of Arts Discourse, Advances in Southeast Asian Studies, and International Journal of Cultural and Creative Industries.
Dr Haizum Hanim Ab Halim
Dr Haizum Hanim Binti Ab Halim is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University with expertise in Smart Metering Applications, Sustainable Energy, and Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS). She earned her PhD in Electrical Power Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia, her Master of Technical Education in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Industrial Electronics Engineering.
Her research focuses on energy efficiency and smart grid technologies, with notable projects including the construction of a Smart Energy Meter with adaptive communication data transfer algorithm for electrical energy monitoring, and the application of Building Energy Management Systems for Net-Zero Buildings. She has contributed to academic publications and conferences, and her work has been recognized with the Bronze Award at the Engineering Innovation Exhibition 2023 (UPM) for her smart energy meter innovation, supported under the Grant Putra UPM (GP-IPS/2016/9494100).
Before joining ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University, Dr Haizum Hanim was a Lecturer and Researcher at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Faculty of Architecture and Engineering, where she was actively involved in teaching, research, and faculty management. Her teaching covered a wide range of modules, including Power Electronics, Artificial Intelligence in Power Systems, Final Year Projects, Integrated Design Projects, Research Methodology, and Mathematics for Computing.
Through her academic and professional contributions, Dr Haizum Hanim has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions and innovative technologies in support of net-zero energy building initiatives.
Dr Abdikarim Mohamed Ibrahim
Dr Abdikarim holds a PhD in Computing from ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University, where he focused on multi-agent deep reinforcement learning applied to wireless networks. He also holds a Master’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering from the Academy of Engineering Sciences in Sudan. His research interests centre on applied AI for wireless communication systems, and he is currently working on non-terrestrial networks to support the development of 6G technologies. He is the recipient of the prestigious ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University PhD Studentship awarded by the Jeffrey Cheah Foundation.
Dr Akmal Zaini Arsad
Dr Akmal Zaini binti Arsad holds a PhD in Physics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Driven by a passion for developing sustainable solutions, she specializes in thin-film nanomaterials and solar cell materials for renewable energy applications. She has strong expertise in fabricating nanomaterials utilizing physical and chemical methodologies, including radio frequency magnetron sputtering, spin coating, and chemical bath deposition. She also developed her skills in solid-state transfer switching and hydrogen research. After completing her doctoral studies, she advanced her research as a post-doctoral researcher at UKM and UNITEN. Presently, she continues her research at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University, focussing on sustainable energy advancements.
