Director, Centre for Professional and Continuing Education
The Centre of Professional and Continuing Education was established as an acknowledgement of the resilience and ambition of Malaysians (and non-Malaysians!) to be lifelong learners; people who seek to continuously better themselves through different and alternative pathways of improvement, growth, development and progress.
To this end, the Centre aims to democratise learning by making the academia more accessible to an often-overlooked cohort; the non-conventional learners, in an effort to promote a positive culture of growth through lifelong learning. The Centre supports the overall University's ambitions towards lifelong learning support by implementing, coordinating and managing non-conventional academic pathways such as the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) initiative, accredited and non-accredited micro-credentials and short courses, as well as Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes.
We seek to extend the invitation to participate in lifelong learning beyond the classroom, to apply learning to our daily lives and eventually, to re-welcome lifelong learners back into the academic fold. We welcome you to join us in this journey of learning and growth together. At the Centre, we're focused on unlocking your potential and helping you achieve your aspirations. Together, let's strive towards being impactful lifelong learners!
