Biography

Professor Tan is a Consultant Urologist and the Head of Urology at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ Medical Centre. After completing his urology training in Malaysia, he furthered his expertise at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. He was later accepted into the prestigious and highly competitive Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) fellowship program, where he sub-specialized in uro-oncology and received advanced training in robotic surgery at the University of Toronto.

Professor Tan now regularly performs robot-assisted surgeries for prostate and kidney cancers. He has a keen interest in surgical technology, with his research primarily focused on the early detection of prostate cancer.
