Biography
Dr Rizal graduated from Guy’s, King’s College, and St Thomas’ School of Medicine, University of London. He obtained his Membership to the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2005. Dr Rizal trained as a Radiologist at Universiti Malaya, where he completed his Master of Radiology (MRad) and Fellowship to the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2010. He is also a trained Neuroradiologist, having completed his fellowship at the University of Hong Kong in 2015.
Dr Rizal’s clinical interests focus on tumours of the Central Nervous System in both adults and children, as well as Head and Neck imaging. He was previously a lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at Universiti Malaya. With a strong passion for medical education, Dr Rizal has also served as an examiner for the Malaysian Radiology Specialty Conjoint Board.
