Biography

Dr Wong Mei Szin obtained her PhD in Science from The University of Melbourne, Australia, specializing in cell biology, and holds a Master of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology as well as a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons) from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her work has been published in leading international journals, including Cell Reports and BioEssays, and she has contributed to studies on nucleolar stress pathways, p53 activation, antimetastatic compounds. Dr Wong is currently a lecturer in the discipline of Physiology. She has extensive teaching experience across medical, dental, biomedical science, and optometry programs.
