Biography
Dr Anis graduated with an MBBS in 2002 and a Master's degree in 2010 from the University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia. She began her specialized training in Paediatric Intensive Care (PICU) at several prestigious institutions, including University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC), the National Heart Institute (IJN), Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL), and the Royal Children's Hospital in Birmingham, UK.
With a passion for teaching and medical education, Dr Anis has served as a Clinical Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). She led the Paediatric Department for five years and the Medical Education Department for two years. Her contributions extend to shaping national postgraduate policies, and she maintains international collaborations with renowned children's hospitals.
Dr Anis has been instrumental in enhancing UiTM's Clinical Simulation Centre, introducing innovative learning modules, including virtual reality-based content, to advance medical training.
Outside of her clinical and academic responsibilities, Dr. Anis is deeply committed to humanitarian missions, organizing educational courses, and conducting research to further improve healthcare delivery.
