Biography
Dr. Lim Gek Mui is a Senior Lecturer at ºìÐÓÊÓƵ University's School of Nursing, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. She holds a Doctor of Education from Universiti Sains Malaysia, MSc in Nursing (Adult & Aging) from Loma Linda University, and a Bachelor of Nursing from Monash University. Her diverse experience spans registered nurse, clinical instruction, and leadership roles, including Principal of a college and Assistant Director of Nursing for education and quality. Her research focuses on the effectiveness of problem-based learning through blended approaches. She supervises PhD students in areas such as mindfulness, quality of life for the elderly, psychological safety for nurses, mobile health interventions, and family nursing, aligning with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
