Biography
Dr Chia Shir Reen is a research fellow at the School of Engineering, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University. She holds a PhD and an MEng. (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham Malaysia, and an MSc. from the University of Malaya. Dr Chia research interests include microalgae, bioenergy, biorefinery and bioprocessing technologies. She is a Graduate Engineer registered in Board of Engineering Malaysia (BEM) and listed as Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List since 2023. She has published extensively in high-impact journals and actively contributes to biotechnology, resource recovery, sustainability and bioproduct development.
