Biography
Dr Wan Siti Halimatul Munirah Wan Ahmad received her B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering (Multimedia), followed by her M.Eng.Sc. and Ph.D. from Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia. She served as a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2017 to 2023. Her interest in digital pathology began in 2021 through her involvement with the Artificial Intelligence for Digital Pathology Centre at Multimedia University. Since then, her research has focused on the development of AI models for pathological image analysis, covering a range of cancer types including pancreatic, prostate, blood, bladder, oral cavity, nasopharyngeal, and thyroid. Dr. Munirah is currently with ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University, where she is part of the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Her core research interests lie in medical image analysis and image retrieval, and she remains committed to advancing diagnostic tools through interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches.
