Biography
Dr. Ahmad Sahban Rafsanjani is the Programme Leader of the BSc (Hons) Information Technology (Computer Networking and Security) and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Smart Computing and Cyber Resilience, School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University. He holds a PhD in Network Security and a master’s degree in information security from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).
He leads initiatives on cybersecurity curriculum enhancement, industry collaborations, and student development at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University, positioning himself at the forefront of cybersecurity education and innovation. He was recently awarded for Excellence in Enterprise and Innovation at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University in recognition of his outstanding contributions to advancing cybersecurity education and engagement.
His research interests include network security, blockchain, cryptography, IoT security, and threat intelligence, and he has published extensively in top-tier journals and conference proceedings. Also, he is a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of the IEEE Computer Society, and a member of the ACM.
