Biography
Tan Poh Ling is a graduate from Universiti Sains Malaysia, where she earned both her Ph.D. in Communication and Master of Communication. She is also a committed educator, researcher, and certified HRD Corp trainer, with more than seven years of teaching and supervision experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research focuses on destination branding, strategic communication, marketing, and corporate public relations. She has published widely in SSCI, SCOPUS, and ESCI-indexed journals and serves as a reviewer and associate editor for several academic journals. Beyond academia, she actively participates in consultancy and industry collaborations, connecting research with practice. Recognised with several academic and research awards, she continues to inspire and guide students toward becoming creative and responsible communication professionals.
