Distinguished Professor Saidur Rahman
Professor Saidur Rahman is a Distinguished Research Professor and Head of the Research Centre for Nano-Materials and Energy Technology at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University. He was Chair Professor in the Center of Research Excellence in Renewable Energy at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM). Prior to joining KFUPM, he worked for 18 years at University of Malaya, a premier research university in Malaysia. Thomson Reuters awarded him as a highly-cited researcher for being among the top 1% of researchers with most cited documents in his research field from 2014 to 2016. Professor Rahman also won the highest accumulation citation award from University of Malaya for four consecutive years from 2011 to 2014. A number of his papers was listed among the top 25 articles in ScienceDirect published by Elsevier Limited. He has published more than 350 journal papers and a majority of them are in top-ranking journals. He has more than 16,000 citations with an h-index of 60 in Google Scholar. To-date, Professor Rahman has supervised more than 65 postgraduate students and has secured and managed more than RM10 million in research grants in Malaysia. He is currently working on improving the performance of solar thermal system with the application of nanofluids and phase change materials.
Dr Tan Kim Han
Dr. Tan Kim Han received his tertiary education at the University of Malaya (UM), where he earned a B.Eng. (Hons.) in Materials Science in 2008. As a scholar, he continued to pursue a Master of Eng. with a major in Nanotechnology at UM and completed it in 2012. He obtained his PhD in Advanced Materials & Nanomaterials from UM under a scholarship provided by the local government in 2019. He has worked on different materials such as nanocomposites, carbon nanotubes, & intermetallic compounds for applications in energy storage, optoelectronics, & electromagnetic absorbers. Currently, he is working on 2D nanomaterials. Several scientific research papers have been published internationally. He was one of the members of a team that won medals in research competitions, Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE, KL 2012) and International ​Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (23rd ITEX 2012), for their work in developing eco-saving coatings in roofing systems. He peer-reviewed some research papers for an international journal. At present, he works as research fellow at the Research Centre for Nano-materials and Energy Technology (RCNMET), School of Engineering & Technology, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University.
Dr Dharshini Mohanadas
Dr Dharshini A/P Mohanadas is a lecturer at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University with a strong academic and research background in chemistry and materials science. She obtained both her Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Her research focuses on the development and characterization of advanced electroactive nanocomposites such as MXene, graphene, transition metal oxide and metal-organic frameworks for applications in supercapacitors, supercapattery, electrochromic devices, membrane and sensors. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to impactful scientific research and collaboration, evidenced by her extensive publication record in Q1 journals and an established h-index of 10. Prior to joining ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University, she served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for 3 years at both Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and UPM. Over eight years of combined research and teaching experience, Dr. Dharshini is deeply committed to advancing innovative materials research while cultivating an engaging, inquiry-based learning environment that inspires her students to explore and excel in the field of science.
Dr Norulsamani binti Abdullah
Norulsamani Binti Abdullah (N. Abdullah) is a post-doctoral research fellow at Research Centre for Nanomaterials and Energy Technology (RCNMET), School of Engineering and Technology, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University. She obtained her Bachelor with Honours (Chemical Engineering) and PhD (Fuel Cell Engineering) from National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2013 and 2018. She has awarded with the change of status from Master to PhD on 2015 from Academic Management Centre of UKM due to the excellent master research achievement. She has an experience as a research assistant at Fuel Cell Institute, UKM from 2014 to 2017 and continues her career as project-based researcher at RCNMET, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University in 2019 to 2020. She has published several journal articles in peer-reviewed and high impact factor (top 10%) journals especially on renewable energy, catalysis and nanomaterial.- Senior Executive - Laboratory
Ms Atikah Aini Abdullah
Ir Dr Ayu Haslija Abu Bakar
Ir Dr Ayu Haslija Abu Bakar is a Professional Engineer (Ir.), Chartered Engineer (CEng), and previously an Assistant Professor at UCSI University. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master’s in Environmental Engineering, and a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering. With expertise in biomass valorization, water treatment, and nanosilica extraction, she has led numerous research projects and industry collaborations. A recipient of multiple awards, Dr Ayu is an active journal reviewer, conference committee member, and community educator. Her work bridges academia and industry, driving impactful advancements in green technology and environmental sustainability.

Dr Maisarah Mansor
Maisarah Mansor graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Communication System, followed by a Master and Ph.D. in Photonic Engineering. She actively contributed to the research involving nanomaterial synthesis for photonic applications. She has published research papers in journals and conference proceedings on her areas of research interest include photonic devices, fiber laser, nanomaterials, and fiber optic sensors.

Associate Professor Dr Samuel Mofoluwa Ajibade
Dr Samuel obtained his PhD in Computer Science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia and got his master’s in Information Technology from Eastern Mediterranean University, TRNC, Turkey and obtained his Bachelors in Computer Science from Covenant University, Nigeria.
Dr Samuel is an experienced and dedicated educator with a passion for teaching and researching cutting-edge technology with over 10 years of teaching and research experience which spans across four (4) continents in various institutions. His research covers wide range of interest in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Optimization Algorithms, Big Data Analytics and Visualization, Human Computer Interaction, Data Mining, Sustainability, Blended and Collaborative Learning, E-Learning. He possesses a solid foundation in computer science theory and a keen understanding of emerging technological trends. He has a proven track record of delivering engaging lectures, fostering meaningful student interactions, and guiding research projects in multiple areas. He is committed to promoting a collaborative learning environment that nurtures critical thinking and innovation. Adept at leveraging real-world industry experience to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical applications and continuously seeking opportunities to contribute to the academic community and advance the field of computer science.
