Dr Lam Siok Ee
- Senior Lecturer
- Research Centre for Carbon Dioxide Capture and Utilisation
Biography
Dr. Lam Siok Ee is a Senior Lecturer with the Applied Physics and Radiation Technologies Group at the Research Centre for Carbon Dioxide Capture and Utilisation. She joined the university as a Research Fellow in 2019. She has prior experience as an active organizing committee member for several international conferences and has served as a session chair. She filed a patent application for a cylindrical Perspex dosimetry phantom designed for small-field radiation therapy. She has been awarded internal research grants as Principal Investigator and has collaborated on national grants as Co-Investigator. She is an active reviewer for WoS-indexed journals, and her role with Springer Nature is now that of a Reviewing Editor. She is a full member of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM), UK, and the International Radiation Physics Society (IRPS). Her current research interests include, but are not limited to, the characterisation of media using advanced radioanalytical techniques for dosimetry and related applications.
