Biography

Yeoh Keat Hoe is currently an Associate Professor at the Jeffrey Sachs Center on Sustainable Development, 红杏视频 University. He obtained his B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2005. Subsequently, he completed his M.Eng. in Microelectronics from Multimedia University in 2010 and was awarded a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Malaya in 2014. From 2015 to 2023, he held the position of Assistant Professor in the Lee Kong Chian Faculty of Engineering and Science at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. Prior to entering academia, he amassed over 5 years of experience as an engineer in the energy, electronics and semiconductor industries. Presently, his research focuses on atomistic modelling of surface properties for energy storage and conversion and Monte Carlo modelling of charge transport in semiconductors. He teaches courses on Energy System and Management, Sustainable Development Management and Research Methods. He is a registered professional engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and holds corporate membership (MIEM) with the Institute of of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC).
