Biography

Dr. Premagowrie Sivanandan is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Business School, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University. Dr. Prema has more than 24 years of teaching experience since 2001. Prior to joining ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University in February 2025, she was the Head of Department (School of Accounting and Finance), Programme Director, Stream Coordinator and Assurance of Learning (AOL) Manager for AACSB Business Accreditation Standards at Taylor’s University. With research interests in areas such as environmental, social and governance (ESG), and sustainability reporting, she has published book chapters and academic papers in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Prema is actively involved in collaborative projects and supervises postgraduate research in ESG and sustainability.
