Biography

Dr Adams specializes in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Strategic Leadership, with nearly two decades of experience in academia, leadership development, and policy consulting. 
 
In addition to his academic career, he serves as a Senior Fellow on Policy & Industry Engagement at the Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute (ASLI), a think tank focused on leadership, policy, and industry transformation; also owned and governed by the Sir Jeffrey Cheah Foundation. 
 
He has been actively involved in public sector leadership training, working under the Malaysian Prime Minister’s Office (Public Service Department - JPA) to develop and deliver executive leadership programs for senior public officials across federal ministries and state governments.  
 
Over the past few years, Dr Adams has led executive training programs on leadership, strategy, public service innovation, storytelling for impact, and persuasive communication, shaping high-level governance and policy implementation efforts in Malaysia. 
 
Beyond Malaysia, he has played a key role in policy research and national development planning, having contributed to the Nigerian Medium-Term National Development Plan 2021-2025 and the Nigeria Agenda 2050. Additionally, he was a key expert in designing the entrepreneurship education curriculum for Nigerian universities, particularly the Startup Development Module. 
 
His teaching portfolio includes courses such as Strategic Entrepreneurship, Business Model Innovation, Design Thinking, Digital Marketing, and Innovation Management. He is also passionate about bridging the gap between academia and industry, having served as an advisor to student startups, a mentor for entrepreneurship programs, and a consultant on SME development and corporate strategy. 
 
Dr Adams has won several awards, including Nigerian Young Manager of the Year, YouWiN Enterprise Grant, and the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, awarded by the U.S. Department of State.
