Bachelor (Honours) in Finance

Overview

The Bachelor (Honours) in Finance programme prepares graduates with strong foundations in Accounting, Banking, Fintech, Investment and Quantitative Methods, supported by specialised training in national priority areas and an internship with securities firms.

Students may get up to 2 out of 5 modules exempted for Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and be well-prepared to transition into higher-level professional qualifications such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Chartered Banker (CB) offered by the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers.

With these competencies, graduates are ready to build careers across firms of all sizes—from conventional companies, banks and financial institutions to modern start-ups and Digital Asset Exchanges—while staying future-ready for Industrial Revolution 4.0.

On successful completion of the programme, graduates will also be awarded a degree from Lancaster University. They will be awarded two certificates, making them graduates of both ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University and Lancaster University.

  • SPM / O-Level: Credit or its equivalent

English Language Requirements

  • TOEFL 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, 80 internet-based
  • IELTS or equivalent 6.0
  • PTE Academic 50 overall (minimum 46 in each skill)

Additional Requirements for Certain International Students

International students from certain countries that want to take some ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University degree programmes (for example programmes in partnership with Lancaster University) will need to take and pass our online six-month International Preparatory Programme (IPP). This is a requirement to enrol on a ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ degree programme that also leads to a degree certificate awarded by ºìÐÓÊÓÆµâ€™s partner institution. Students are required to pass all the subjects with grade C or above to progress to the degree.
