Overview
The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Conventions and Events Management degree prepares students to lead in the global events industry by blending creative design, strategic planning, and digital innovation.
In Year 1, students build a solid foundation with core subjects like Business Events and Emerging Technology for Events. Moving into Year 2, they deepen their expertise through Exhibition & Exposition Management and gain hands-on experience during an immersive 10-week internship. Students then select from three exciting specialisation streams tailored to industry trends: Adventure & Entertainment, Luxury & Prestige, or AI & Digital Solutions. In Year 3, students refine their entrepreneurial and strategic management skills through Project Realisation and Research Project.
With a wide range of electives spanning F&B, travel services, and digital marketing, the programme nurtures versatile professionals ready to adapt and innovate. Graduates emerge well-equipped for dynamic careers as Convention Organisers, Event Producers, PR Managers, Destination Marketers, or specialists in VIP relations, digital events, and themed entertainment, ready to meet the growing demand in the global MICE and experience economy.
