Overview
This course is designed to equip communication students with the knowledge and skills to develop and implement creative ideas in their field. Through a combination of theory, exercises, and case studies, students will learn how to generate and evaluate ideas, identify and overcome creative barriers, and communicate their ideas effectively.
On completing the course, students will be able to:
- Apply the fundamentals of creative thinking principles to produce successful collaborative, co-operative or co-design solutions
- Demonstrate independent creative thinking and judgement in the pursuit of solutions to complex design problems and issues
- Execute effective research and development in order to acquire new practical or professional knowledge of a self-determined or selected project
