How to be a member of SSV?You may register with a membership fee of RM10 or renew your annual membership with a renewal fee of RM5 .
Can I know more about SSV?ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ Student Volunteers (SSV) is a student-led organization dedicated to volunteerism. We have five departments: Community, Environment, Health, Wildlife, and Design and Publicity (D&P). To know more about our events, follow us on Instagram .
What do SSV members gain from participating?SSV members will accumulate volunteering hours upon participating in the volunteering events. Volunteers who achieve the minimum hours throughout their one-year membership will be awarded a certificate. More information on the certificate system will be included in the membership confirmation mail.
When can I expect to receive the confirmation email for my SSV membership?SSV will send the confirmation email to your iMail within two weeks of your application submission once your membership registration has been processed.
How can I join the volunteering event as an SSV member?After becoming a member, you will be added to our mailing list and receive recruitment emails via iMail. If interested, sign up through the Google Form link in the mail. Volunteers are selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Selected volunteers will be notified and added to a WhatsApp group.
Do SSV members need to attend meetings or every volunteering event?No. Members are not required to attend meetings and may choose events that fit their schedule and interests.
How can I purchase an SSV T-shirt?You can purchase the T-shirt when signing up for volunteering events. Select your size in the Google Form, bring RM25, and collect the T-shirt on the event day.
Is there a WhatsApp group for SSV members?No, there is no general WhatsApp group for members. All communications are done via mail.
Can I sign up to become an SSV member at any time?Yes, membership registration is open throughout the year.
When does SSV membership expire?

Membership lasts one year and follows two intake periods:
 

  • March intake: Memberships expire on 15th March the following year (for sign-ups between January–June).
  • August intake: Memberships expire on 15th August the following year (for sign-ups between July–December).
What is the range of volunteers needed per event?Each event typically requires between 5 and 40 volunteers.
