Biography
Ooi Wee Liam is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, School of Medical and Life
Sciences at ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University. His research focuses on how the human-nature
relationship informs pro-environmental motivations and behaviours. Previously, he worked
with the Monash Climate Change Communication Research Hub to produce a policy
report for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability that aimed to
improve planetary health awareness and foster sustainable behavioural changes among
Malaysians. He is also a Secretariat for Climate Governance Malaysia where he assists in
various tasks involving evaluating program efficacy and producing communication reports.
