Biography

Dr Charles Sharma Naidu has 20 years of education experience with a background in Architectural Illustration, Graphic Design, Educational Technology and Instructional Design. His expertise lies in Instructional design, creative educational pedagogy, the use of gamification in assessment, and educational technology. A proponent of "learning by doing" and "play to learn"; his research interests include gamified teaching, immersive learning using extended reality and mixed realities, the use of artificial intelligence in pedagogy and learning, and student engagement with educational simulations as well as creative workshops. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for the Bachelor (Hons) Design Communication undergraduate programme at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Department of Creative Design, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University.
