Intercultural Communication

Overview

Orgnizational Communication course proposes to understand the communication in the organizational environment by providing an overview of the organizational communication study and the history of its development leading to its current industrial practice. Other aspects of the organizational communication also includes leadership, conflict management, decision making and problem solving where various theories and models will be discussed to better understand the dynamic and importance of strategic organizational communication processes and its application.

On completing the course, students will be able to:

  1. Illustrate the relationship between cultural dimensions and communication among different cultures.
  2. Analyze cultural awareness and its impact on intercultural communication dynamics.
  3. Demonstrate intercultural communication skills in different cultural context.
