Overview
This subject introduces students to key practices and principles that support psychological and physical wellbeing. With a focus on cultivating healthy habits, managing stress, and enhancing self-awareness, the course offers a practical and evidence-informed approach to personal development. Drawing on concepts from emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and self-care, students will engage in reflective exercises and guided activities to better understand the connection between their internal states and everyday behaviours. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with practical strategies to foster resilience and support sustainable wellbeing in their personal and academic lives.
On completing the course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate principles of emotional intelligence and mindfulness to enhance personal well-being and interpersonal relationships
- Conceptualise a personalized self-care and wellness plan that integrates physical, mental, and emotional practices for sustainable living
