Biography

Sally’s research focus is Sociology, where urban identity is studied through a qualitative lens. Apart from gender, age is also the identity marker that is used, enabling an inter-generational understanding of lived reality. At ºìÐÓÊÓƵ University, Sally was part of a research team on active ageing in 2021, and is currently studying young people in a team project called Future Cities. 
 

In learning and teaching, Sally’s background is in Literature and Discourse Analysis, also with identity as the focus. Her current focus in classroom engagement include the practice of reflexivity, and the use of audio technology.
