Synopsis | The Sociocultural Determinants of Wellbeing and Sustainability short course by ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University offers participants a multidisciplinary and experiential approach to understanding how cultural and social factors influence wellbeing and sustainable living. Designed for international students, this three-week programme immerses learners in the unique multicultural landscape of Malaysia through cultural exchange activities, field visits to wellness and welfare agencies, and interactive classroom learning. The course provides an opportunity to explore Malaysia’s diverse communities, traditions, and values, while engaging with topics such as mental health, community development, and sustainability. Through village living experiences, cultural dance classes, and site visits, students will gain a holistic understanding of how sociocultural contexts shape health and sustainability outcomes in Southeast Asia. |
