Diploma in Hotel Management

Overview

The Diploma in Hotel Management programme is designed to meet the dynamic demands of the global hospitality industry by equipping students with both operational expertise and business acumen.

In Year 1, students gain hands-on experience through practical subjects such as Food & Beverage Operations and Rooms Division Operations, alongside business-focused modules like Principles of Marketing. In Year 2, students deepen their industry knowledge through modules like Business Environment and Introduction to Entrepreneurship, with a 20-week internship to ensure real-world readiness. Besides that, subjects like International Cultural Studies and Communication Skills prepare students for diverse, service-driven environments.

Graduates are primed for careers as Front Office Managers, Customer Service Managers, Food Service Managers, Spa and Wellness Managers, and Aviation or Cruise Service Managers, or to launch their own lodging or food ventures. This programme provides a robust foundation for both immediate employment and further study in hospitality disciplines.
