Biography
Dr Mehran Behjati is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ University. He has over a decade of academic and industry experience in wireless communications, networking, and intelligent systems, including three years of industry engagement in UAV technologies. His research focuses on AI-driven wireless networks, IoT systems, edge intelligence, and next-generation communication architectures, with publications in leading ISI-indexed journals and IEEE venues, as well as patented innovations.
Dr Behjati has secured and contributed to competitive research funding exceeding RM 1.7 million, serving as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator on multiple national and international projects. His work integrates communication engineering, machine learning, and optimization to address real-world challenges in smart and sustainable networked systems.
An experienced educator, he has developed and delivered a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules, particularly in Networking, Internet of Things (IoT), and CCNA-aligned courses. He is committed to bridging theory and practice through hands-on learning, industry-relevant curricula, and research-led teaching.
